 Guests say...

We say...

"Bed is oh so comfortable - felt right at home."

Our guests appreciate a room with hotel-quality queen beds, reading lights on both sides, extra pillows, radio alarm clock, windows that open, room-darkening shades or curtains, and a private bathroom.

"Breakfast was too gorgeous to eat, but we did."Must have been the fresh fruit with yogurt sauce! We also serve juice, coffee or tea, sweet and savory breads with jam and butter, eggs, cheese, and healthy cereals - cold in summer, hot in winter.
"Close to everything yet removed from the quick pace."

Capitol Hill is centrally located, ideal for exploring a beautiful and livable city. Bring walking shoes, a taste for sourdough and microbrews, and enthusiasm for outdoor sports, books, sunglasses, live theater, movies, music from opera to grunge, and - yes, it's true - coffee.

"Everything is so convenient and quiet."

Urbanites think so, anyway. Our neighborhood, one of the city's oldest, combines tall trees, stately houses and apartment buildings. Although we're close to restaurants, cafes, bus stops, and convenient shopping, our immediate area is surprisingly peaceful.

"What a warm and cozy house - never met a cat before that actually meows 'hello.'"

Sadly, Amable the Talking Cat no longer greets our guests. His shy successor is Spot. We're Julianne Nason and Oliver H. Osborne, and we hope we can make you feel as welcome as these visitors did.
